Vietnamese has past tense, progressive and future tense as well as English.<\/p>\n

In fact, Vietnamese people don’t often use these tenses when they use words indicate time (e.g. ng\u00e0y mai\u00a0 tomorrow).\u00a0 But in case of without these words or emphasizing the text, often use\u00a0past tense, progressive and future tense.<\/p>\n

Past tense, Progressive and Future tense in Vietnamese<\/h2>\n

Past tense\u300c\u0111\u00e3\u300d<\/h3>\n

If you want to express past tense in Vietnamese, use\u00a0\u0111\u00e3 in front of verb.<\/p>\n

Unlike English, Vietname is very simple, you don’t have to change verb style. All you need to do is putting\u00a0\u0111\u00e3 before verb and make a sentence become past tense.<\/p>\n

Progressive tense \u300c\u0111ang\u300d<\/h3>\n

In case of expressing progressive tense in Vietnamese, put \u0111ang before verb.<\/p>\n

Same as past tense, only putting\u00a0\u0111ang in front of verb and make a sentence become progressive tense.<\/p>\n

When you express future tense, put s\u1ebd before verb. As you might guess easily,\u00a0usage of s\u1ebd is same as past tense and progressive tense.<\/p>\n
